It's Biggs and Wedge! Luke's wingmen from the Trench Run in ANH. Poor Biggs is shot down and killed by Vader however Wedge survives to fight another day and goes on to become the leader of Rogue Squadron.
Wedge is on the left dressed in his formal attire as seen in the X-Wing: Rogue Squadron comic books and on the right Biggs is dressed as he appears in a deleted scene at Toschi Station from ANH where he tells Luke he's defecting to the alliance, an insightful scene that will hopefully someday make into a special edition, blu-ray perhaps?
