Think M.A.S.H but Star Wars and you have the Medstar duology. Technical part of the 'A Clone Wars Novel' series of books, these two book chronicle the adventures of Bariss Offee and the medical staff on a Republic medical base, Michael Reeves and Steve Perry take every possible to opportunity to reference M.A.S.H. from the stereotyped characters, the scenes in the bar and the sound of heli... I mean Star Wars flying machines constantly interrupting the action. Also cool about these books is that they heavily feature I-5YQ, the sentient protocol droid who first appeared in Darth Maul: Shadowhunter, also by Michael Reeves.
