While essentially unrelated these two novels both fall between TPM and AOTC and both serve as prequels that foreshadow much later books in the Expanded Universe. Rogue Planet on the left is a prequel to the NJO series and Outbound Flight is a precursor to Survivors Quest. Both books feature Obi-Wan and a young Anakin Skywalker and Outbound Flight is the first appearance chronologically of Grand Admiral Trawn.
