Plo Koon Action Figure
Biggest challenge I have doing these posts now is choosing which figure to photograph, this Plo Koon is one I've had a long time. He's got a great pose but unfortunately very limited articulation so these photos here is just about all he can do.
As well as Master Plo I have this wolf pack clone, not sure if its meant to be Commander Wolffe or not but he still looks cool.

TCW Clone Troopers, 7th Sky Corps Acton Figures
The canon seems to be getting a little confusing around these guys. I'd always thought Cody's forces were the 212th Attack Battalion but I think TCW has retconed it so that the 212th is a part of the 7th Sky Corps... let me start over, here's the Clones that are under Cody's command in the first couple of series of TCW!
I do enjoy a bit of army building although it can be hard to justify some times, at four Cody's squad is one of my biggest armies of the same clone.

Quinlan Vos Action Figure
I've been wanting to photograph and blog this figure again for awhile, I originally posted a photo of Quinlan Vos within the first couple of months of starting this site, I'm planning to eventually redo the vast majority of those figures now Shannen's taught me proper use of a camera.
The figure is from a comic pack that came with Vilmarh Grahrk (I'll probably take the opportunity to post more Vos photos when I eventually post him), the figure has pretty good articulation if a little stiff in the legs but is well sculpted and is a great likeness of the character. Above is a shot of Quinlan Vos with Commander Faie (front left) and a selection of similar looking clones that I thought looked good in a scene together.

Rex and Cody Phase 2 Action Figures
Following on from our post in April where I showed off my Phase 1 versions of Rex and Cody, I've since collected the new Phase 2 Clone Wars versions of both.
I'm loving Rex's new look, with the Phase 2 helmet but a Phase 1 visor (essentially the reverse of this guy) plus he's covered in tally marks for all his kills in the war so far. The big question around Rex still remains, will we see him die on the Clone Wars and when?
The Cody figure is nice however it's not quite as cool as the Cody figure that came out alongside ROTS, this one is a good deal skinnier since he's in the Clone Wars style. The figure came with an unusual backpack accessory but unless I see it in some form of canon I'm not interested in displaying him with it.
Here's the two clones with their Jedi commanders, I posted the Anakin when I first got it but I don't think I've shown off this Obi-wan yet, will some him in a few more photos soon.
Finally a couple of fun photos of each clone, Rex above with a couple of 501st troopers lit to look like Umbara, below Cody and one of his troopers blasting a Commando Droid.

Queen Amidala Action Figure
Another figure from the stash I picked up at Invasion Dublin. Not the most articulated figure but then the character doesn't do a whole lot of moving around in this costume.
And of course the customary shot of the politician in the senate pod, skulking in the background is an Episode 1 Palpatine, also picked up at Invasion.

"No they won't!"
Same Qui-gon and Watto figures I've shown before, however I've picked up the 'Tatooine Accessory Kit' which came out along side the original TPM action figures, included is the Qui-gon poncho.
The Watto figure I've only posted once before but is one my favourites, I think it has easily one of the best sculpts and paint jobs of any Star Wars figure.

"Did I miss something?"
Only a very quick set of photos this weekend, just some fun shots of Anakin, Obi-wan and Palptine escaping down the elevator shaft in ROTS. If one or two look a bit odd, well that's what happened in the movie.

Yarua Action Figure
Another figure I picked in Dublin a couple of weeks ago, Yarua the wookiee senator from episode 1, as a kid Yarua was the first wookiee I was aware of after Chewie so was happy to add him to the collection.
Nicely sculpted but a little lazily painted, not quite sure where those eyes are supposed to be looking.
As is customary on this blog now, when photographing any senator I like to put them in the pod for a shot.
Finally this week, a group shot my slowly growing wookiee collection.

"Duel of the Fates" part IV
It's the last post in our "Duel of the Fates" series, Obi-wan Vs Maul. Don't forget you can check out all four parts along with all our TPM shots by clicking on 'Movie Scenes' at the top of any page.
We hope you've enjoy it the past few weeks and check back next week as we jump to another area of the saga!

Rex and Cody Phase 1 Action Figures
Two figures I've had since The Clone Wars movie was in the cinema but have only posted in a couple of images each.
They're essentially the same figure, not as good as some of the more recent TCW figures but they have a decent amount of articulation and the detail's not bad.
Here they are with the original Obi-wan and Anakin from that figure line as well.
Below Cody and Rex go up against a couple of Commando Droids and a Super Battledroid with the help of Clone Troopers Denal and Echo.

"Duel of the Fates" part III
Welcome back for part 3 of our Duel of the Fates re-inactment. In an attempt to recreate the force field effect we've used one of our coloured gels we normally use for lighting.
It's not really the right colour so we've gone for a more striking approach with it but I think it gets the idea across fine for our puposes.
I've always loved this fight since seeing it on the big screen back in '99 (and last Feb in 3D of course). I tend to think of Obi-wan as the old hermit living out in the Dune Sea and its great seeing him in his prime during this fight.
Even in this sequence when he's not in the actual fight, he's arguably the most intense character on screen and it's through his perspective that we worry about Qui-Gon as he fights Maul alone.
I still struggle to get my head round how Obi-wan doesn't make it through all the 'gates' in time and maybe someone can hep me. Maul and Qui-Gon fight their way down the corridor, Maul is able to make it all the way through and Qui-Gon makes it one gate from the end.
But when the gates open the second time, Obi-wan is right up on the first one and sprints all the way down the corridor but is to slow to and gets stuck at the last gate. How did Maul make it all the way through while fighting in one go and Obi-wan not while running? That's without considering we saw the Jedi use Force Speed down a hallway at the start of the movie.
Last week I said this week would be the last part in our series, however it turns we'll have to go one more to complete the fight. This week we haven't really attempted to convey the pit they fight around so nows it's our challenge for next week.
I was 13 when I first saw TPM and it was right about here that I released only Obi-wan was the only one in the fight who had to survive based on the OT, then immediately this happened...
