Star Wars Apparel

Photobucket

Since this is my 250th post and last week was the one year anniversary of this blog I decided to something a little bit different with this one. Over the last month I've taken a photo on my phone every time I've worn a piece of Star Wars apparel.

I wouldn't call these shirts a collection exactly as clothes wear out and get replaced, think of this post as more of a snapshot of my current Star Wars clothing.

Thanks again to all my followers, it's been a very fun year blogging my collection and I have had great opportunities to interact with some awesome Star Wars fans.

Clone Trooper Army Builder Action Figures

In case you're thinking I've gotten really good at posing Clone Troopers overnight, this figures have very limited articulation and essentially fixed in these positions.

These figures all came together in a three pack that I've seen on ebay actually comes in a variety of repaints however they tend to go for a little more money than I like to spend on my figures but I would still like to collect a bunch of them for dioramas.

Mandalorian Police Officer Action Figure

Another figure based on TCW series, the Mandalorian police first showed up in season two during the Death Watch trilogy and reappeared in season three for the couple of political episodes set on Mandalore.

The police officers are pretty cool with their uniforms seeming to be inspired by both Boba Fett's armour and medieval elements.

EU: Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor

I'm not sure this book quite lives up to the epicness of its cover and I guess that's why they say never to judge a book by its cover. That said it is a decent enough read and makes some cool references to Matthew Stover's other Star Wars novels, just don't expect galaxy shaping events from this book.

Keyan Farlander on the left and Palso Thern on the right, a couple of B-Wing pilots.

Signed copy of 1,000 Star Wars Collectibles

I know I've blogged about this book being in my collection back in October but at Invasion Dublin over the Easter weekend I had to opportunity to meet the author of the book, Steve Sansweet and he was kind enough to sign my copy.

This meant a pretty great deal, as I've said before this book is the inspiration behind my blog and it was very cool to get the chance to tell Steve that in person.
