Wat Tambor Action Figure

A gift from Shannen, this fairly hard to find figure of Wat Tambor, a character I've been after for a long time.

It might not be the best figure every made, very limited articulation, but the important point is his hand reaches his tuning dial thing that makes the awesome sound effect in AOTC so I'm happy.

Rex and Cody Phase 1 Action Figures

Two figures I've had since The Clone Wars movie was in the cinema but have only posted in  a couple of images each.

They're essentially the same figure, not as good as some of the more recent TCW figures but they have a decent amount of articulation and the detail's not bad.

Here they are with the original Obi-wan and Anakin from that figure line as well.

Below Cody and Rex go up against a couple of Commando Droids and a Super Battledroid with the help of  Clone Troopers Denal and Echo.

Aqua Droid Action Figure

It's an Aqua Droid from seasons 3 and 4 of TCW. Makes a nice addition to the battle droid collection and is better balanced than any of the regular B1 battle droids or super battle droids.

The feet on this figure fold up into little propellers for when it's 'swimming', to show it off heres an Aqua Droid  facing up against Kit Fisto with some lazily photoshopped  underwater lighting.

Darth Maul Action Figure w/ Sith Speeder

I've been making the most of the new wave of figures, first Obi-wan then Qui-gon, now Maul so the obvious thing to do next is recreate Duel of the Fates, in the mean time, and since there's not very many of them, here's 90% of Maul's other scenes from TPM.

"This is my apprentice, Darth Maul. He will find your lost ship."

"At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge."

Neimoidian Action Figures

"This scheme of yours has failed Lord Sidious, the blockade is finished..."

"...we dare not go against the Jedi."

"Viceroy, I don't want this stunted slime in my sight again..."

"...this turn of events is unfortunate. We must accelerate our plans, begin landing your troops."

"My lord, is that ... legal?"

"I will make it legal."

General Grievous Action Figure

Above is General Grievous grabbing Ahsoka as he does in TCW episode 'Duel of the Droids', really happy with how the lighting turned out in this one, I think it's pretty believable that the green glow is coming off the lightsaber.

This figure is a nightmare to pose and balance so normally I display it riding the STAP as shown here.

The arms can be swapped out to give him his four arms, unfortunately this about the only decent pose you can get from him.

Lastly another TCW reference, this time its from the Malevolence trilogy where everything was lit red from the nearby planet.

Savage Opress Action Figure

I hadn't realised this was out in Europe yet so was thrilled to find one at Invasion Belfast last weekend.

This figure kinda speaks for itself I think so enjoy the pics taken for me by my lovely girlfriend and check back soon for more of my spoils from last weekend!

Astromech Action Figures

Above are three astromech units from TCW series, left is R3-S6 aka "Goldie" and right is R2-D2, both of these figures I've posted before, however center is R4-P17, Obi-Wan Kenobi's astromech during the Clone Wars.

On the right is R4-C7 from an ARC-170 star fighter set I have that I have yet to post.

Left of this text is another R2-D2 figure, this is the one I use in my Yavin Medal Ceremony diorama, what I didn't show off before was that this is actually a ROTJ inspired model that has a button on the front to make Luke's lightsaber pop out the top as R2 does on Jabba's sail barge.

This figure is based on the original concept art for R2-D2, I have more figures in this series and will post them all in the near future. As you can see R2's design didn't change a great deal but I'm glad they decided against the arms.

On the left is the R2-D2 figure I use with my Dagobah X-Wing, interesting feature on this model is that it plays R2 sounds and the photoreceptor lights up (the light only ever flickers, getting a decent photograph was a nightmare).

Lastly here is a simple group photograph of all seven astromechs, without whom doors couldn't open, starfighters couldn't fly and death star plans couldn't be sent.

Geonosis Battle Droid Action Figures

Three red Separatist Battle Droids from the Battle of Geonosis in AOTC. The two models on either side are a slightly newer release and have the eyes/photoreceptors painted black however the three sculpts are identical. The one with the added yellow deco is a droid commander.

Rocket Battle Droid Action Figure

From season 1 of TCW, this is one of the battle droids that went out hunting the Republic escape pods.

Armoured Scout Tank w/ Battle Droid Action Figure

Cool mini-tank, this never appears in any Star Wars sources but was first released along side TPM in 1999 then was released and repainted alongside TCW.

AAT Driver Battle Droid Action Figure

A battle droid from TCW line, this one's green deco marks it as an AAT driver.

IG-100 MagnaGuard Action Figure

Previously I posted one of these droids that was in the animated style of TCW, this one however is based on the ROTS MagnaGuards complete with cloak and head wrap.

Lushros Dofine Action Figure

A new addition to my collection of Neimodian action figures (the other three I own were one of the first posts back in May). Lushros was captain of General Grievous's flagship, The Invisible Hand, in ROTS. This figure comes with a control console from that ship.

TCW Super Battle Droid Action Figure w/ Jet Pack

This version of the Super Battle Droid, aka the B2-RP battle droid, first appeared in TCW Season 1 in "Jedi Crash", as well as a unique deco this figure has an in built jet pack, see right.

IG Lancer Droid Action Figure

These guys accompanied Durge in the Clone Wars microseries, riding in on swoop bikes using their lances to take out the Republic's canons.

Durge Action Figure

This is Durge how he appeared in the Clone Wars microseries and it's the only action figure I have from the figure series specifically based on that show. Durge also made several appearances in the Dark Horse comic books but sadly has yet to appear in TCW.

Super Battle Droid Action Figures

A couple of weeks ago I posted the stylized TCW version of the Super Battle Droid, today it's the live action version. Interesting to me how the figure subtly changes depending on which pack or which figure line it came from, second from the left varies so much it's a totally different colour..

TCW Super Battle Droid Action Figure

Much more rounded and bulbous than the Super Battle Droids in the live-action movies, the SBDs in TCW are one of the most stylised adaptions in the show. This particular figure has a missile launcher in place of one of his arms.

Commando Droid Action Figures

Arguably the most formidable of the separatist forces, these droids are adapt at hand-to-hand combat, sword fighting and blaster fire, they also poses the ability to imitate human speech patterns.
