EU: Michael Stackpole X-wing Novels
Quite a while since I last posted any of my novel collection. These four are the original X-wing novels written by Michael Stackpole to tie-in with the old X-wing video games. I thoroughly enjoyed this series that follows the exploits of Wedge Antilles and Rogue Squadron in the first few years after ROTJ.

Nien Nunb Action Figure
It's Lando's Sullustan co-pilot from ROTJ, Nien Nunb, seen above in the cockpit of the Falcon.
A very basic figure with only a small amount of swivel articulation but the character deserves to be in any collection.

The Clone Wars Movie Soundtrack CD
Put off buying this for a while as it was pretty over priced when it was released but last week a shop in town had it for only £3 so decided to pick it up. It's nice to have it as part of the collection but what I really want is soundtracks released for the actual TV series and not just the movie.

Snowspeeder and AT-AT with Luke and Dack Action Figures
Recently picked up this Snowspeeder so this week I wanted to try and recreate a few shots that follow Luke and Dack's story in the Battle of Hoth.

ARC Heavy Trooper Action Figure
This first pic was inspired by the cover for the young reader novel Epic Battles and I had to use the power of photoshop to bring this one to you as I actually only have one of these figures. Once I was already cheating by making a multiple exposure I figured I may as well throw in a few simple lighting effects too.
This is the weapon the figure comes with and it's what he can be seen using in the original Clone Wars microseries.
Finally a bit more work with gels, was struggling to avoid the lens flare so in the end decided to make this photo a little more artistic and deliberately make it part of the image.

Lego Star Wars Necklaces
While not actually part of my collection as these belong to my girlfriend, the Boba was originally a key chain of mine that she re-purposed and I bought the Chewie for her recently, I think they're really cool so figured I'd post them even if they're not mine.

General Grievous Action Figure
Above is General Grievous grabbing Ahsoka as he does in TCW episode 'Duel of the Droids', really happy with how the lighting turned out in this one, I think it's pretty believable that the green glow is coming off the lightsaber.
This figure is a nightmare to pose and balance so normally I display it riding the STAP as shown here.
The arms can be swapped out to give him his four arms, unfortunately this about the only decent pose you can get from him.
Lastly another TCW reference, this time its from the Malevolence trilogy where everything was lit red from the nearby planet.

300th Blog Post
18 months, 50,000 views and 300 posts on I'm still having a great time creating this blog. Originally I started this as a place to show off my collection but over the last year and a half I've gotten a lot more confident in my work and have really enjoyed recreating scenes from Star Wars, so to say thanks to all the visitors and followers of this site, as I wouldn't have bothered this long without you, I've decided to revisit my top three most viewed posts and try to do these figures a bit more justice.
3 - Galen Marek aka Starkiller
This image is based on the cover art to the first Force Unleashed game. Originally when I posted this figure the image was just Starkiller standing alongside Juno and Kota, you can see it here.
2 - Darth Revan and Darth Malek
Very simple photo here of the apprentice bowing before the master but with the red lighting I thought it was a strong image. My original post of these two can be found here.
1 - Pre Vizsla
This image showing Obi-Wan and Vizsla squaring off is a recreation of a scene from the TCW episode, 'The Mandalore Plot', one of my favourite episodes of the TCW so far and I'm glad to see that other people find the Pre Vizsla figure cool as well. Here you can see the original post, this was one of the first times I attempted to pose figures in a scene and I think you'll agree this blog has come on along way since.
I still have a lot of my collection to share but going forward I hope to have a much bigger emphasis on recreating scenes and other dioramas, thanks again for following and check back soon!

Bail and Breha Organa Action Figures
I'm a big fan of Jimmy Smits, so naturally I'm also a big fan of Bail Organa too.
Here he can be seen along with his wife Breha Organa and below is a holographic Obi-Wan that came with the Bail figure.
