Titanium Venator-class Star Destroyer

Seen in ROTS and TCW, this is a Venator-class Star Destroyer also known as a Republic Cruiser or a Jedi Cruiser and is a fore-runner to the classic Star Destroyers seen in the original trilogy.

Saesee Tiin Action Figure

Another Jedi Master from the prequels, this version of Saesee Tiin however is based on his appearance in the Clone Wars microseries, Tiin's star destroyer is destroyed so he dons this space helmet and along with a squad of clones they leap through space on to a Separatist ship and take it over. A cool scene and a cool action figure based on it.

Geonosis Battle Droid Action Figures

Three red Separatist Battle Droids from the Battle of Geonosis in AOTC. The two models on either side are a slightly newer release and have the eyes/photoreceptors painted black however the three sculpts are identical. The one with the added yellow deco is a droid commander.

Mandalore the Ultimate Action Figure

The leader of the Mandalorians is known as the Mandalore, this is Mandalore the Ultimate from the days of the old republic around the time of Exar Kun and Ulic Qel Droma. Mandalore the Ultimate appears in the Tales of the Jedi comics and gets mentioned in the KOTOR games.

With this post I have blogged all my Mandalorian figures as current so I also included an image of all nine figures I've collected.

Borsk Fey'lya Action Figure

First post of the new year and it's a figure I got for Xmas from my housemate, this is Borsk Fey'lya a Bothan from the Expanded Universe, he was a leading member of the Rebel Alliance and the New Republic.

This is also my first post using a proper SLR, still getting to grips with "real" photography again as it's been a few years since I last had access to cameras of this quality. As I get better going forward look to see some more interesting arrangements and dioramas and of course just generally better and more detailed photographs on this blog.
